Administrations Destruction of Our Country

On January 14th I went to the US
Postal Services website to use their “Click-n-Ship” program so that I could send
a Global Priority package. The program malfunctioned and charged my credit card
four separate charges of $23.50 each. I was understandably upset and immediately
phoned the postal service help line only to find out that they were closed due
to the Martin Luther King Jr. Holiday and would not reopen until January 17th.
On Tuesday morning I phoned the help line and much to my dismay discovered that
not only was a talking to a rude and misinformed customer service representative
but one that could barely speak English. Yes, that’s correct…. I was talking to
a person half way around the world in India.
It was bad enough that this person could not understand me well enough to lend
assistance but when I took my complaint to our local Post Master she had no
indication that the Postal Service was outsourcing. Here let me reiterate that
just to drive the point home. With millions of Americans just one paycheck away
from being homeless our government is outsourcing jobs! Our welfare rolls grow
every day and our government is sending jobs overseas. We have children starving
and our government is supporting the economy of other nations. We have American
citizens that have suddenly found themselves in an unemployment line after years
of service because their company outsourced their job. And their government that
could possibly help them with a new job can’t, because they too are outsourcing.
I do not know in what reality that sending American jobs overseas can possibly
be good for Americans but there is something inherently wrong when our own US
Government sends United States government jobs overseas. It doesn’t stop there
however there is so much more. We sell our ports to foreign powers that support
terrorism. Is this what homeland security is? We finance our geographic
takeovers with loans from foreign banks. What happens when they call the loans?
We turn our backs on an entire region of the United States leaving in limbo
funds and resources that would be of tremendous assistance to Americans in need.
What foreign nation will be the ultimate receiver of what is needed now by our
own citizens? The oil companies post the largest profits in history while
Americans get poorer while trying to stay warm or get to their small jobs. How
much longer must we listen to the lies told to us to justify their robbery?
This administration is not at war with terrorists they are at war with the
people of the United States. They are the rappers and pillagers of the American
people taking and taking and giving nothing back in return. Cronies with little
or no qualifications are placed into positions of power which they will hold for
years after this administration has passed on. Companies with direct ties to
members of this administration get lucrative contracts that help them to further
destroy the American economy while secretly helping the retirement accounts of
those in power.
We are subjected to a President that truly was not elected by the people in 2000
and smiles at us while casually telling us that the economy is strong. His eyes
twinkle as he claims that there are weapons of mass destruction. He pats a horse
show coordinator on the back telling him, “Good job Brownie.” While thousands
are left homeless and dying. The worst someone does in his administration the
more medals they get. The president chuckles as he dismisses his Vice Presidents
careless shooting and temporary cover up of the same. He claims to be informed
and in touch with the American people while populating his town hall meetings
with supporters and no one who will ask the hard questions or disagree with his
rhetoric. He is a President who sends our troops to die in an unpopular and
unjust war that is not about freedom but about oil profits.
This administration is successfully and quickly selling America out from under
the American people to line it’s pockets and they are doing it with a smirk and
a wave. Mr. Bush, you once stood in front of a banner that stated “Mission
Accomplished.” The mission will never be accomplished until you and your Robber
Barons are held accountable for the atrocities that you have subjected and
continue to subject the people of this great nation too. We the American people
demand the return of our lives, our jobs, our country and our dignity.
